Thomas "Tom" W. Brown, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the age of 67. Loving husband of Lynn Brown (nee: Gaskill); dear son of the late James Lesser Brown and the late Zella Marie Brown; devoted father of Scott (Beth) Brown and Nicole (Andy) Gorgen; cherished Pa Pa of Mia Brown, Mason Brown, and Sophie Gorgen; dear brother-in-law of Doris (Don) Mitchell; uncle of Colleen Reinsmith; great-uncle of Jaclyn and Jake Reinsmith; cousin of Dean (Nancy) Bowers; and dear friend to many who will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph L. and Lillian Bell Brown.
Tom was a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and an owner of BPS Financial Advisors for 12 years, and was in the financial industry for 39 years. He was a member of the Board of Directors at New Frontier Bank, was on the board for Lutheran Family and Children Services, member of Charter Life Underwriters and the Million Dollar Round Table. He loved his yellow convertible mustang, putting large puzzles together, sports (especially football), vintage cars and genealogy. Above all he loved spending time with his family.
Memorials may be made to Lutheran Family and Children's Services or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
