Askins, Thomas "Tom" C., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the age of 81. Loving husband of the late Janet Z. Askins (nee: Bommorito); beloved son of the late Robert Charles Askins and Leora "Dolly" (Joseph) Wyhs; devoted father of Tommy N. Askins, Nancy Cobb, and Connie (Greg) Trigg; dear brother of Evelyn Trautwein, Colleen Delgman, and Leroy Askins; cherished grandfather of Tommy R. Askins, Kristopher Thomas Askins, Tara J. Adinolfi, Emily Cobb, Seth Cobb, Laura (Paul) Marcus, Justin Trigg, Sarah Trigg, and Erica Trigg; treasured great-grandfather of Ashlyn and Tristan. He was employed at St. Charles County Sheriffs Department as a Deputy Sheriff. He was a member of Marine Corp League, VFW, VA, St. Louis Bow Hunters Club, and the St. Louis Gun Club. Tom was also a Sgt. in USMC in Korean War- "Semper Fidelis".
