Ludwig, Rita M., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the age of 78. Beloved daughter of the late Ferdinand J. and Marie Ludwig; loving member of her adopted family Chris, Trish, Michael, Matthew, Carter and Morgan O'Neal; dear cousins to Nancy (Jerry) Blurton, Carrie, Matthew and Michael Blurton, Martha Hood, Vickie Wirthman, Betty Lou Zeh and Bruce Stephenson. In previous years she enjoyed showing dogs. She was a Professor for Missouri Valley College and Lindenwood University, she was an avid sports fan for the University of Oklahoma and St. Louis Area Sports. She was known for her love of Theatre and her hospitality to her students. She lavished her family and friends with love. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.

Memorials may be made to St. Charles County Humane Society.
