I knew Rich and Rick from loading them with bricks. Rich was a great guy and always had time to chat about boating. He will be missed. Mike Beck

I wanted to extend my sympathies to Jeanette and the family while remembering some wonderful times on the river back in the good old days. Hard to believe 30 years have passed since then; doesn't seem that long ago. But, we are lucky to have shared those fun times. Love to all of you.

Rich was a wonderful boating buddy. He was always willing to help me with his knowledge of boating. I purchased a boat from Rich which was the boat of my dreams at that time. Rich was an icon on the river and will truly be missed by many boating buddies

No one could have a better friend than Rich. Very few people can say they have a friend that has their back regardless of the issue. Rich was that person, and I only hope I was as good of friend to him.

RIP my friend, I will always remember the fun we had together.

Rich was great guy and an expert boater. He loved the river, the many boats he had and he loved to work on them. He would always help and always had a nice thing to say..

My dad was an amazing man. A friend to all .. through the past few weeks it has been comforting to hear the fond stories all of his friends have to share about him. I have always been proud to be his daughter. His laughter would fill a room as would his smile. His drive and hard work are hard to duplicate. I learned many things from my dad...he was a great teacher and a wealth of street smarts. Dad

He was a successful self made business man and loved cars and boats more than anyone I know. He was the best grandfather a kid could ever have. Although there will be a big void the world is a better place because of his 79 years here on earth. Thank you dad for all you have taught us and done for us but most of all thank you for the best gift you have ever given me......my brother!

Remember the many weekends spent at the club. One weekend he tried to teach me to water ski. He was very patient even though I was terrible and never able to accomplish skiing.
