Your mother/aunt/grandmother/mother in law was such an amazing lady and words cannot express what an impact she had on me and everyone else for that matter. I have a 'thinking of you' card she sent to me last year and all of this time I've kept it tucked away on my counter to reread as a reminder how important it is to keep good people close to you.

Cousin Jimmie, my best family friend--the one who gathered the family/families. The caregiver to her Mother, Tony, big sister to Pat and loving mother to those four wonderful boys and their children and children's children. Yes, she was there for everyone. Because we were born within a week of each other I have known and watched her through the years.When we were kids sometimes fought like cats and dogs--only to reach our senior years with a deep love and true freindship Memories galore. We traded off summers as kids:I went to StCharles one summer and she came to Chicago next (and the lake!). Fans blowing over huge ice cubes kept us quiet in the afternoons escaping the Missouri heat. But her house and the hill of iris to slide down--ah, fun times. She grew into the most gracious, giving lady, beautiful inside and out. We shared our loves and needs when our husbands passed and our phone calls regenerated our spirits. My only consolation right now is that I'll see her There--in Heaven as she knew Jesus as Lord. She told me of recently reading "Heaven is for Real"--the little 7r old's story. Now she knows Heaven and Jesus Face to Face.
Meanwhile I miss her more than I can say. I know you "boys" and your families do too and I am praying for upou all. Only God's Grace really brings us through . Regretably I couldn't come for the final farewell but I do hope to see you again.

Jimmie was a great friend, an inspiration for living fully and well and with a sense of humor. I loved her passion and appreciated her friendship and her fierce pride in Main Street and her family. She was one of a kind, even after the accident that nearly killed her she managed to fight back and still travel and enjoy. Main Street would not be what it has become without her and her family. I'm very sorry she is gone and will miss her.

My prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time. Dad & Mom always thought the world of Jimmie. JImmie you will be missed.

Due to the distance and traveling not so common, our relatives which were many cousins in the East did not come to California often or ever. Jimmie was one

We were so happy to have news about each other and our families. I will be forever thankful and grateful that we were able to correspond after all these years. She is such a beautiful lady in this posted picture and I am so sorry we were not able to see each other once more. Tom notified me today of her passing and it is nice to read the notes of her many friends and family. I feel I know her even better now.
