Barklage, Kenneth M., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the age of 90. Loving husband of the late Mary Lee Barklage (NEE: Nathan); beloved son of the late Martin C. and Selma Sandfort Barklage; devoted father of David (Cindy) Barklage and Sally (John) Schrefer; adoring grandfather of Andy (Lulu) Adkisson, Kristi (David) Cassat, Susan (Brandon) Copeland, Adam (Amy) Barklage, and Adam (Meredith) Schrefer; cherished great-grandfather of Alex and Drew Cassat, Cameron Adkisson, and Lucas and Reid Copeland; dear brother of Marlin J. Barklage. He is preceded in death by his brother Cletus Barklage. He founded Midwestern Safety Equipment Company in 1955.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church or Salvation Army.
