I knew Jeane from my volunteer work at Therapeutic Horsemanship. She was a lovely warm lady who was a joy to be around. She put up such a long brave battle against the cancer, she will be missed. Rest in peace Jeane. I'm sorry not to be able to be at the funeral.

I met Jeane many years ago at a Therapeutic Horsemanship event . We were
introduced and ever since that day whenever I was at TH she would come up to me with a big smile on her face and a hug. I first met Jeane more than 45 years ago when she joined our family. I was a pre-teen at the time and finished growing up with Jeane as a sister. I have so many fond memories of those early years. Memories of her teasing and memories of the pictures she drew and painted for me. I watched her as a young mother and wife. So much energy and so many interests. Many years spent camping with her young family. As

I first met Jeane more than 45 years ago when she joined our family. I was a pre-teen at the time and finished growing up with Jeane as a sister. I have so many fond memories of those early years. Memories of her teasing and memories of the pictures she drew and painted for me. I watched her as a young mother and wife. So much energy and so many interests. Many years spent camping with her young family. As my family grew and I moved away, we saw each other less often and yet when we did, we had no problem talking and laughing. I watched as she fought this 20 year battle with cancer. She was relentless in fighting it and she amazed so many of us with her determination and zest for life. Jeane, you will not be forgotten. Gary, thanks for your love, devotion, and care for Jeane.

Jeane will hold a special place in my heart forever. Growing up with her daughter Tracy as my best friend, she was like a second mom to me. My prayers are with the families.

On November 19th, she left me a voice mail message apologizing for missing my birthday and in typical Jeane fashion, proceeded to sing a wonderful version of happy birthday on my cell phone...something I will never forget. She may be gone, but only from our sight...her spirit will live on. Jeane, I'm sure you were ushered into heaven on a beautiful white chariot with God and His amazing horses!
