Hugo Nanney, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the age of 82. He was the loving husband of almost 60 years to Blanche Nanney (née: Cotner); devoted father of Dennis Nanney, Kenneth (Susan) Nanney, Mark (Donna) Nanney, Ronald (Leanne) Nanney, Doug (Sherrie) Nanney, and Elizabeth (Arthur) Barnes; cherished grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 15; and dear brother of Doris Winkler, Norville Nanney, Robert Nanney, Henrietta Crabtree, Allen Nanney, Leo Nanney, Shirley Nichols, Glenda Nanney, Richard Nanney, and Debbie Douglas. He is preceded in death by his parents Leclere and Stella Nanney (née: Geisler), and siblings Leclere Nanney, Jr. and Wanda LaBoo.

Hugo was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in O'Fallon and a member of Laborers Union Local #660.
