Ross, George E., of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Monday, July 9, 2012 at the age of 86. Loving husband of the late Margaret Irma Ross NEE: Hagemeyer; beloved son of the late George and Esther Ross; devoted father of Diane Marie (Temple) Cowell, Georgia Ann (Paul) Otto, William Ian (Anita) Ross, Robin Ellen (Timothy) Van Cleave and Steven John (Priscilla) Ross; treasured grandfather of 14; cherished great-grandfather of 8; dear brother of Ellen Yunker and John Bentley Ross; beloved uncle and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Paul Van Cleave. George was an engineer for McDonnell Douglas for 32 years and was a member of the Society of Allied Weight Engineers.
