Uncle Eddie,
I will miss you and the times we shared. All the of games of Monopoly and Hogs of War. I lived with you, grandma, and grandpa for many years of my life. The laughs we shared at the family gatherings will be missed greatly. Words cannot express the sorrow endured when we lost you. I am happy though that you are with God and his loving embrace.

Dear Ed and Cindy: I have just learned yesterday (from Facebook) of Eddie's passing. Bob is in Haiti this morning and I am sorry that I cannot make the service this afternoon. But our hearts are touched by your hearts - our families have just known each other for far too long for it to be any other way.

We celebrate your life, even though we are to rejoyce with laughter and happiness of your homegoing, there still is a bitter sweet amount of sadness.
