Donald Levi Lewis, of St. Charles, Missouri, formerly of Alton, Illinois, died on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the age of 77. Cherished husband of 52 years to Sally Lewis (nee: Richey) and father of David (Katherine) Lewis, Mark (Donna) Lewis, and adopted father of Daniel Layton. Son of the late Levi and Viola (nee: Allsman) Lewis. Beloved grandfather of Christopher, Matthew, Joshua, Elijah, Julia, and Nikki Lewis, and great-grandfather of Nevaeh, Lucy, and Amelia Lewis. Brother of Darlene (Johnny) Giesen, Jack Lewis, Barbara Binning, Brenda (Ralph) Calame, the late Carolyn Anderson and the late Allen Lewis.
Donald was a member of the United Stated Air Force 1956-1960 and retired from Bodine Aluminum in 1996. Don attended St. Charles First Assembly of God for 36 years before that he attended Glad Tidings Assembly in Vinita Park, Missouri where he was also a Royal Ranger Leader and Sunday School Teacher.
