Order Flowers

Holt, Dennis, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the age of 69. Beloved son of the late Leon and Ruby Holt; devoted father of Lesly (Jeff) Sanborn, Sunny (Joe) Steinhoff and Missy (Daniel Toerper) Burgert; loving grandfather of Taylor Burgert, Andy Toerper, Ashley Burgert, Parker Sanborn, Phoebe Sanborn, Madison Steinhoff and Rylan Steinhoff; dear brother of Jackie Ordelheide; beloved friend of Sue Gieselman; dear uncle, cousin and friend to all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Holt and Tom Regot; and step-mother, Polly Regot-Holt.
He was a member of Carpenter's Union Local 1987 and the Moose Lodge. Dennis enjoyed spending time with family and friends on the river and lived by the motto "Live life, die young and leave a beautiful memory."

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family c/o Baue Funeral Home to plant Memorial Bald Cypress Trees on Dennis' River Property or Disabled American Veterans or 5 Acres Animal Shelter.
