Whitcomb, Donald, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the age of 90. Dearest husband of the late Ruth Mary Whitcomb NEE: Herbert; dear son of the late Harry and Grace (Coy) Whitcomb; devoted father of Faith Victoria (the late Charles) Lucas and Catherine Mary Whitcomb; beloved grandfather of Amy (Dave) Young, Joshua (Jennifer) Dixon, Justin (Ashley) Dixon, and Andrew Dixon (Kristen Sheahan) and great-grandfather of Nicholas, Gillian, Leah, Harper, Caleb and Miles; dear brother of Marian Hoyt. He was a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Dimond, Frances "Edith" Frost and 2 infant sons.

Donald graduated from A.B. Davis High School in Mt. Vernon, NY, proudly served in the Canadian Army during WWII, and was employed as an Accountant. He was a lifelong member of the Anglican Church and served many years as Treasurer of the Church of St. John the Divine in Mt. Vernon, NY.

Private Funeral Service. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or Sts. Joachim & Ann Care Center
