Staley, Norman S., of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the age of 79. He was the loving husband of Joan Staley (nee: Scott); dear son of the late Russell and Anna Staley; cherished father of Patricia "Nikki" Bertschmann, Franny Donnelly, and Michelle Ferguson; beloved grandfather of JoAnna, Scotty, Peyton, and Aubree; and dear brother of Bob, Richard, Betty, Dee, and the late Bill, James, Edna and Pat.

He retired from General Motors after 30 years; served in the U.S. Army; and was a member of VFW Post 2866. Norman loved and adored his family and friends and spending time with them. He will be greatly missed by all.

Memorials may be made to the VFW Post 2866 or BJC Hospice.

Joan, our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family forever. Norman was dear to Scott and myself. He was a terrific person. Norman and Scott became close working at Carquest together and then after he always called to check up on Scott to see how he was doing and then our long talks on the phone to see how me, Scott and the boys was doing. I will cherish the calls forever. He will truly be missed by us all.
