The Lord is our salvation and our strength in every fight, our redeemer and protector, our eternal guiding light. He has promised to sustain us, He's our refuge from all harms, and underneath this refuge are the everlasting arms.

Debbie, Amanda(s), Christina, Jessica: My connection is my BFF Debbie. We worked together at United and have remained best friends for ten years and more. We have shared happy times and sad times but we have always supported each other.
Ray was always at Debbie's house on weekends with the granddaughters. Ray had such a sense of humor.
Whenever I went to Debbie's house or on the phone, Ray would greet me with Baaaaarb and I would answer Raaaaay.

I have known Ray Jr. only meeting him on a few occasions. I attend the New Creation Fellowship Church in Granity City, IL with his dad Ray Cheatham. Last time I saw Ray Jr. was at a lunch at Denny's in Pontoon Beach. In learning of his sickness, pain and need for work, I have prayed so many times for him. I am sorry for the lost to all his loved ones. I will be continuing to pray for the family in their times of sorrow. I pray that God will comfort all of you during this time.

Like some of the others here, I only knew Critter online. He had such a keen wit, a good heart, and was always up for a good discussion, a game, or a word of support. We will all miss him.

I spoke with him on the forum, he was one of the forum regulars. I did not know him personally. But it grieves me that a fellow Dad, husband and gamer has passed away. I wish him god speed and may our Lord Christ be with him and his family. May God our Savior bless you all and the little one's.

"Good bye Critter, you will be missed"

I didn't know him well but knew of him on matrix Games and The Wargamer forums and read his posts with interest.

He was a fellow wargaming enthusiast and that along with his humour came across in his posts.

I wish his family well through this difficult time and hope he finds peace and solice wherever he may be.

I only knew Critter virtually, but he really tried to help me out when I was in need and I will always be grateful. Thanks for your help and I will miss you.

From all of your fellow gamers, your wit and wisdom will be missed. You were an important part of our vast community, and we are all mourning the loss. To the family, you may not realize the size of the shadow Ray cast, but his loss has been literally discussed around the world. Our prayers and condolences go out to all of you.
