Marlin visited the Warrensburg Area Amateur Radio Club in 2003 and gave a technical presentation to the club members. He and Barb drove through Warrensburg almost every month on their way to the farm visiting on the radio with many hams (amateur radio operators) along the way. He was a good friend and will be missed. A final 73, Marlin - WA0CKO SK (Silent Key)

Grew up always knowing Marlin. We're related. Went to grade and high school together . Marlin & Barbara have been good to visit my parents in these last few years as they returned to the AC area. My sincere sympathy to Barbara and family.

Marlin's mother was my second grade teacher at Hudson R-9 and Marlin was in my sister's class. We rode the same school bus to ACHS, attended Round Prairie Baptist church and were in 4-H together for several years. I often think of Marlin on his birthday. He'll always be a part of my "growing up" memories. I'm so sorry for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with Marlin's family. I was a high school classmate of Marlin.

We will always remember your kindness in always stopping in to visit with Roy & Betty in Appleton City. I know that meant a lot to them. We are all saddened to hear of Marlon's sudden passing. I can't remember a time when I didn't know Marlon! Our sincere condolences. Karla & Larry Kelly

I was so sorry to hear of Marlin's passing. We worked together at Kirkwood R-7 for many years and he was a good man! He was dedicated to any responsibility he was given. We enjoyed a lot of talks about his hobbies-guns and radio.
We will be out of town at the time of the service but wanted you all to know you have our deepest sympathy!

Marlin and I went to school together starting the 3rd grade through the 12th.
Will always remember him as one of the true gentlemen of the school.

I am sorry for your loss of

Husband, Father, and Grandfather; am praying for you and your family.
Had not got to visit with him since our graduation and he will be missed at our 50th class reunion

Sincerely,

I was Marlin's teacher when Hudson R-9 was first instituted. We always enjoyed visiting with him and his wife when they came to A.C.. You are in
our thoughts and prayers at this time.
